Hey All!! Sorry it has taken me so long to get a hold of some internet, but John and I are finally in Huancayo in our homestay. I'll try and start from the beginning. 

May 30th: When John and I arrived at the airport in Lima we were told to look for a man holding a sign with our names on it. We found Jhon Monge and Brkemlin.... so we got in his cab. Turned out to be a nice guy and took us to DragonFly Hostel in Miraflores where we met the rest of our group and both of our coordinators. They were playing drinking games, buy John and I were exhausted so we went to bed.

May 31st: We woke up early to go on a city tour of Lima, where John translated the majority of the tour. Lima was rainy and very cloudy, I don't think we saw the sun once. John and I finally decided to shower once we got back...yikes cold water. And then we enjoyed a siesta. During the night our group went to El Parque de las Aguas. Our coordinators informed us that it was a waterfall/water park and we should bring our swimsuits, so we all did like tourists. When we got the the park it was actually many many water fountains, which was actually every romantic! Many pictures of this to come.
